The Innovation Camp
On April 24-25th, 2010, was held in Copenhagen, the INNOVATION CAMP, a 2-Days inspiring Workshop,
in collaboration with Miljopunkt Osterbro.
Miljopunkt Osterbro is a Danish community project that is striving towards a sustainable, clean and healthy environment
in the district of Copenhagen named Osterbro. Through various initiatives the project encourages the citzens, institutions and companies of Osterbro
to contribute to an attitude that respects the local as well as the global environment. One such initiative is the project 2100.nu that aspires to engage the citizens and companies of Osterbro
in an innovation process looking for sustainable urban solutions. Partnering with Energy Crossroads, Miljopunkt Osterbro is looking for students
who can help drive this process. The innovation camp is the first step in this direction.
Students from various disciplins meet to learn about innovation, sustainable urban development and facilitation processes.
Experts from Teknologisk Institut will teach the participants about innovation processes,
a member of the Kaospilots will provide
an example of how to think innovatively about social structures,
while a practitioner will introduce tools to facilitate processes of community building.
During the workshop participants will learn hands-on how to engage community development projects with these tools.
As the focus of the particular community development project in Osterbro will be
on sustainable urban development the workshop will also introduce contemporary approaches on the issues of energy, waste and transportation.
